2019-2020-nominasjonene ble kunngjort tirsdag, og anerkjente arbeidet til Chicagos teaterselskaper og artister i 21 kategorier.
Chicagos teatermarkis kan være mørkt på grunn av nedleggelsen av alle ikke-essensielle virksomheter midt i koronaviruspandemien, men den forkortede sesongen 2019-2020 var likevel fylt med en rekke førsteklasses produksjoner i områdets mindre hus/butikkfronter.
For eksempel ble nominasjonene for 2019-2020 Non-Equity Jeff Award kunngjort tirsdag, som anerkjenner arbeidet til Chicagos teaterselskaper og artister i 21 kategorier.
I spissen i år er Griffin Theatre, med 10 nominasjoner, tett fulgt av Jackalope Theatre Company med 9 og Lifeline Theatre med 8.
Shower som mottar flest nominasjoner med 7 stykker inkluderer: All Quiet on the Western Front (Red Tape Theatre), The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe (Underscore Theatre Company), Big Fish (BoHo Theatre) og P.Y.G. eller The Mis-Edumacation of Dorian Belle (Jackalope Theatre Company).
